I heard that LAMS was born where the cars sleep
I heard that the infant was nurtured by just enough people to
make one football team but at least I heard that GOD was the
coach,
I heard GOD was the one who gave birth to LAMS,
I heard it was rendered in the hands of two young leaders.
I saw the young leaders give up hope
I saw the struggles, the tests, the days when there seemed like
there was no dawn for hope
But in the distance
I saw the coach waiting for the young leaders to ask for hope
I saw the leaders ask what they once dreamt about
I saw the infant growing
I saw the leaders tears in silence were not in vain.
I see LAHSS with a multitudes of a thousand today
I now see the tears
I now see the same hope in each of the thousand, cultivated
inside them by the same leaders
I now see that the infant is a quarter of a century old
I see the infant, now tall enough to shadow a hundred cars
I see the leaders young no more
I see GODs grace
And
Now I can say
I saw it all.
