The Old School Building
Lima Aier Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, came into existence in the year 1991 in memory of Late S. Lima Aier (IAS). The school was established at the premises of Late Lima Aier at Lingrijan, Dimapur under the leadership of Mrs Imtila Aier (Daughter-in- law of Lt. Lima Aier). Initially the School started with 80 children and 7 staffs (with classes from LKG – Class II). Today the school has 1000 students with 70 staffs from LKG – Class XII. The institution is recognised by Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE).
Reverence to God is Learning
With the motto “Reverence to God is Learning” the school’s Mission Statement is “to impart mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual development to young people from a wide diversity of cultural and ethnic groups.” The School’s academic program is intentionally set on community life based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. It is devoted to the service of imparting quality education irrespective of caste, creed, community, religion or status, providing equal opportunities to every children in the society.

LAHSS is dedicated to draw out the full potentiality of a child and nurture him/her for all round development with Godly wisdom, knowledge, physical, mental and social development so that the children are well equipped to face the challenges of life with confidence, grit and determination. The School education philosophy is that, true education is the architecture of the soul, awakening a sense of undying curiosity and the desire to achieve. With this philosophy, we strive to prepare and equip younger generations to be responsible Global Citizens who excel in social skills and enjoy a wide range of interests.
