PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS

At the center of our philosophy is the collaborative partnership between the home and school. The mission of LAHSS is most effectively implemented in the child’s life when the specific partnership between the child’s home and school is most closely knit together in a cohesive learning community.

Therefore, our student care team works with teachers and parents to provide appropriate support so that the students can cope with the academic demands and challenges and manage them constructively and creatively.

Inappropriate behavior, if severe or consistent, parents are informed to work in partnership with the school in order to bring about change.

We also host a website where parents can monitor their child’s progress.

PARENTS-TEACHERS MEET (PTM)

Children achieve best when there is proper parent-teacher coordination and work together in partnership.

Therefore, all the parents are expected to attend the Parent-Teachers Meet (PTM) to find out their child’s progress.

HOME STUDY

Parents are encouraged to set a fixed time for daily home study in which the child can complete the given assignments, do self-study, and prepare for the next day’s lessons. The school expects the parents to ensure that this time is adhered to daily, is stress-free and free from any disturbance, so that the child gets into regular study habits.
