Examination & Promotion

Examination System

Students will not be allowed to write the exam if their class attendance is below 80%.

If a student is sick during an examination, the Parent/Guardian should send a leave application along with a medical certificate. 

After each terminal examination, the progress report will be sent to the Parent/Guardian, which should be returned after signing.

Classes A to 9

There will be three Assessments  at the end of each Term. They are as follows:

 

  • 1st Assessment in month of May
  • 2nd Assessment in the month of August
  • Final Assessment in the month of November

Project/Chapter-wise test/Internal Assessment component is included in all the Terminal Assessment

Classes 10 to 12

There will be four internal examinations before they appear for the HSLC/HSSLC Examination.                            They are as follows:

 

  • 1st Assessment
  • Mid Term Assessment
  • 3rd Assessment
  • Pre-Board Examinations
  • HSLC/HSSLC Board Examination

Promotion Policy

Minimum pass percentage = 40%

Classes A to 8: Students should get a minimum 4O% in all the main subjects.

Classes 9 & 10: Out of six subjects, students should pass in English + four other subjects.

Classes 11 & 12: Out of six subjects, the student should pass in English + four other subject
